It's possibly the biggest understatement ever that 2020 has not gone as planned. The NFL has been the closest to business as usual of any league in all of sports. The NFL Draft had to go virtual and social distant but it happened on schedule. The preseason games have been canceled but that's not a huge deal. Many of us think those games are redundant anyway. Even with NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell's full steam ahead attitude I'm scared the season either won't happen or will be so different we won't recognize it. Tonight's debut of HBO's Hard Knocks featuring the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers will be a look into how things work and could possibly put some of my fears to bed.
ESPN's Adam Schefter shared the new look for the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers join the Buccaneers, Rams, Falcons, Patriots, Browns, Colts and god only knows how many other teams in tweaking or just straight up changing their uniforms before the 2020 season.
There was a time that Thursday Night Football seemed like a waste of time. Almost every game was unappealing and the "Color Rush" uniforms angered more fans then it entertained. This year has been the complete opposite. Sure there were some stinkers but most Thursday Night NFL games have been excited and carried real ramifications. Tonight is no exception as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers with major playoff ramifications on the line.
