It was 44 years ago today when Mike Eruzione scored the biggest goal in U.S. hockey history, and the United States upset the Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympics.

This Monday, February 22nd will mark the 41 year anniversary of "The Miracle On Ice" in the 1980 Winter Olympics. An amazing group of amateur hockey players upset the greatest hockey team in the world with a 4-3 victory over the Soviet Union. In honor of one of if not the greatest upsets of all time.
