The Shenendehowa Athletic Department has announced the following individuals and one team have been selected for induction as the 2012 Class of the Shenendehowa Athletic Hall of Fame.

Shenendehowa's Alex Kinkaid (eClub Capital District) shot two rounds of 74 for 148 to finish in a fifth place tie in the New York State Junior Championship at Mark Twain Golf Course (Elmira).

In the middle of summer, why not talk about high school wrestling? Shenendehowa High School junior wrestler Alexis Porter captured the ASICS/Vaughan Cadet and Junior National Championships' Cadet girls' 143-pound division title at Fargo, N.D. recently.

For the fourth time this season, Shenendehowa High School will lose another veteran successful coach.

For the third time this season, Shenendehowa has announced a new varsity coach.

It was expected to be a very close game so the finish didn't surprise anyone.  Chaz Lott scored with one second left to propel CBA of Albany past Shenendehowa, 52-49, in a Section II Class AA quarterfinal boys basketball game Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College.

Once again, Shenendehowa wrestlers shined in the Section II state qualifier at the Glens Falls Civic Center this weekend.

It's official.  Brian Clawson and Jonathan Bain will have big shoes to fill as they take over for legendary coaches at Shenendehowa High School.

It was Super Saturday in Section II wrestling as five classes went to the mats.  In Division I, Class I (Class A) at Colonie, Shenendehowa had a great showing with nine wrestlers taking championships en route to scoring 314 points for the team title championship.

The Shenendehowa High School wrestling team keeps rolling along.  On Wednesday night, Shen defeated Columbia, 50-24, to capture the Suburban Council championship with an 8-0 record and put together its seventh straight unbeaten title.

The Shenendehowa High School wrestling is coming off a couple of excellent performances in prestigious tournaments.

You could say that Shenendehowa athletic director Chris Culnan will be quite busy looking for coaches. For the third time this season, another longtime veteran coach at Shenendehowa is retiring.
