This was our first chance to talk to Liam Gleason since he accepted the Siena Lacrosse head coaching job. Gleason's excitement for the game and love for his players is evident and will serve him well as the new top man in the Siena Lacrosse program.

The Tri-City Valley Cats take the baseball world by storm with #1 draft pick Mark Appel making his pro debut on Friday vs. Lowell.  The Valley Cats also play Saturday against Lowell and Sunday-Tuesday against Aberdeen.

You can add Brian Brecht's name to the list of Siena coaches that used the Loudonville school as a stepping stone. Today, Brecht was named the head lacrosse coach at Rutgers University.

An historic season for the Siena men's lacrosse team ends with a national ranking. The Saints were ranked 20th in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll and finished the season nationally ranked in both the Nike/Inside Lacrosse and USILA Coaches’ Polls for the first time in program history.

It was one and done for the Siena lacrosse team in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. Top seeded Syracuse held off the pesky Saints in the 1st Round at the Carrier Dome, 10-4.
