Spring Training

Texas was the big winner in the Yu Darvish battle that happened in the off season.  On Wednesday he got his first start for the Texas Rangers in the Cactus League, and it went pretty well.

Baseball is back, and the New York Yankees aren't looking so bad.  Sure, it's just spring training, but the over all performance of the team looked very promising.

Today marks day 1 of the long journey. Yes it's only exhibition but it's baseball and that is a wonderful thing! Yes it's just Oakland vs Seattle but it's baseball time. Yes it's time for uniform number 67 or 73 that no one knows but that's ok...

For several weeks, the Yankees were trying to create extra room in their payroll to sign extra candidates for the DH slot in their starting lineup, as well as role players coming off the bench. And now that the AJ Burnett trade was made official on Sunday, the Yankees have pulled the trigger on some relatively inexpensive options.

With Spring Training now in full swing around the Major Leagues and the NFL Draft around the corner, it brings up a great question. Which would you rather watch - the NFL Draft or your MLB team playing in a Spring Training game?
