Day 1 Fog Delay Adds More Holes Today for US Open
Torrey Pines is set on the beautiful coast of southern California. With that beauty, on hot humid days can come a dense marine fog, so thick you can’t see your fingertips stretched out in front of your face. So, teeing off in a major golf championship is probably not a great idea. Yesterday, that fog delayed the start of the 121st U.S. Open Golf Championship by 90 minutes.
