Yankees Land Tulowitzki, Not Out Of Running For Machado

The Yankees taking a chance on Troy Tulowitzski does not mean they won’t land Manny Machado. It only means the Yankees have an inexpensive backup plan with a former 5 time All Star. Tulowitzski hasn’t had a productive season since 2016, but that doesn’t mean he can’t fill in at shortstop until Didi Gregorius is set to return from Tommy John surgery. Its only costing the Yankees the Major League minimum, because the Toronto Blue Jays are picking up the rest of his $20M salary this season.
