Sunday afternoon saw short track racing at the Bristol Motor Speedway in the Food City 500. Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag for his first win of 2012.

It wasn't a good day for race favorites on two separate occasions Things got hectic early on with a big crash at lap 24. Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Marcos Ambrose, Kevin Harvick and Kasey Khane all received heavy damage to their cars. Khane's spotter told Kasey he was clear of Regan Smith's car and that started a bad chain of events. There was also trouble on lap 359 as  teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon got together causing Gordon to cut a tire and go into the wall.
