Saturday saw night racing on the Sprint Cup Series schedule at the Kentucky Speedway. Brad Keselowski drove to victory for his third win of the season almost guaranteeing him a spot in the chase later this year.

Kyle Busch was last year's winner in Kentucky and it showed as he lead the most laps and dominated the first half of the race. Kyle's teammate Denny Hamlin would take over the lead at lap 130. The pole sitter of the race, Jimmie Johnson, would take over the lead by lap 187. Kyle Busch would end up having more bad luck for the 5th straight week as something on his car would break causing him to lose spots on the track.

It was a rather uneventful race until lap 210 when Ryan Newman would hit the wall between turns 1 and 2 that would collect Regan Smith.  After the restart, Johnson would have problems and lose track position. Keselowski would take the lead from that point and never looked back. Kasey Khane would come back from being a lap down to take second place. Hamlin would wind up third, Dale Earnhardt. Jr would bounce back from a bad outing in Sanoma for a fourth place finish and Jeff Gordon would round out the top 5.

The night racing will continue next Saturday with the Coke Zero 400, the second race on the schedule from Daytona. TV coverage will begin at 6:30 on TNT.
