On Wednesday, we wrote about Jeff Hoffman's most recent start for the Dunedin Blue Jays, the Class A Florida State League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.

He took the loss, going five innings and allowing just two earned runs. He's now 2-3 on the season as he works back from Tommy John Surgery, which we underwent last year right before the draft.

We brought in Dunedin broadcaster Marshall Kelner to ask how Hoffman looks, how he's progressing, and about the Blue Jays individual plans for him in his outings.

We also asked if Hoffman is struggling to finish hitters (only 32 ks in 49.1 innings), and if he could end the year in AA.

Speaking of AA, we also spoke to Kelner about Murphy Smith, the Shen graduate who recently earned a promotion from the Dunedin Jays to the AA New Hampshire FisherCats.

Smith won his first start with New Hampshire earlier this week.
