Just one day after being cut, wide receiver Jeremy Horne was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad on Wednesday. The former Albany High School standout has played in six regular season games with the Chiefs over the past two years. He has yet to catch a regular season NFL pass, playing primarily on special teams.

After playing for the Albany High Falcons, Horne attended Milford Academy in New Berlin, NY, and then Syracuse University before transferring to UMass. He joined the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent from Massachusetts in 2010.

Horne could be placed back on Kansas City's active roster for tonight's game against San Diego.
