Holley Mangold Doing One-Handed Snatches [VIDEO]

I thought that this girl might be lifting 10 pounds one-handed or something.  Oh, no.  Olympian Holley Mangold lifts some serious weight with one hand.  Check it out.

It looks like Holley Mangold is lifting as much as 135 pounds with one hand.  That’s insane!  What’s just as insane to me is having the weight rest on two platforms that are not very wide.  It’s extremely difficult to control the weight with just one hand.  Then, you have to drop the weight on the platforms properly?  You’re looking at a potential busted ankle if you miss.

Holley Mangold is an Olympian who tore a tendon in her right wrist just before the Games began.  It’s tough for athletes to sit around and heal.  I’m not sure it will do Holley a ton of good to strengthen her left wrist while her right wrist heals.  Her right wrist will still have to play catch-up with the rest of her body.  I sure do appreciate her effort though.  Hopefully, Holley’s hard work will pay off.
