In a perfect world, it would have been nice if Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr attended last weeks OTA workouts. If for no other reason than head coach Ben McAdoo wanted his star player to show his face with the rest of the team. Having said that, it's really not a big deal. If McAdoo wants perfect attendance at OTAs, than make it mandatory and not voluntary.

Creating more controversy out of Beckham's absence was the shoe deal he signed with Nike, the largest in history for an NFL player, and a picture on social media of the Giants wideout and former Cleveland Browns quarterback, the embattled Johnny Manziel. At the end of the day, this is all about perception and not enough reality for me to get worked up about number 13 missing OTAs. Once mandatory workouts roll around, OBJ will be there and the same can be said when it matters most; in the regular season.
