The NFL is currently investigating Gregg Williams and the New Orleans Saints for their involvement in Bountygate.  Former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams admitted to the NFL that he implemented a system where his defensive players would receive cash payments for injuring their opponents.  Cash rewards were given for hits that led to players being carted off of the field or knocked out of the game.

We all understand that football is an incredibly physical game.  However, a coach orchestrating cash incentives for his players to injure their opponents is way over the line.  The Saints are going to get absolutely hammered by the NFL.  Gregg Williams is expected to get suspended for the entire 2012 season while the Saints are expected to get hit with fines and lose draft picks.  Williams met with NFL security officials on Monday.  Expect a severe punishment from Commissioner Roger Goodell to be handed down soon.
