Team coming together
Last weekend Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane released a statement announcing the news and extending his condolences to Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver as he lost his son. Moments like these serve as reminders
Whenever I see a story like this revolving around a professional athlete, suffering through something so devastating, it reminds me of one simple fact. Next time you are booing a rival opponent, or heckling the person on your team who made an error, just remember these are still human beings.
As sports fans sometimes we almost forget these players are people. People who have families, and go through heartbreak, and more often than not have to deal with these emotional moments in the public eye. Again, let it serve as a reminder that even the biggest celebrities out there, still deal with human problems.
