Buffalo Bills’ Celebrity Fan Gets Surprise Team Gift During TV Appearance
Chad Michael Murray is a native of Buffalo, and as such, is a proud member of Bills Mafia.
The 42-year old actor, who rose to prominence playing Lucas Scott in The WB/CW teen drama series One Tree Hill, is a lifelong Bills' fan and long-time season ticket holder.
Murray appeared on The Today Show on Tuesday morning to promote a new project, but the show's hosts and producers couldn't resist the opportunity to bring up his Buffalo fandom.
Here's what happened:
According to the hosts of the show, the team was responsible for presenting Murray with this gift. Of course, the producers of The Today Show probably reached out to the team ahead of his appearance on the show to set up some type of surprise, and this is what the team chose to do.
Regardless of how it happened, it was an extremely cool moment for this lifelong Bills' fan.
Murray was born in Buffalo, and attended Clarence High School in Clarence, New York, where he played football. Murray began his career in entertainment as a model in both Florida and Los Angeles, before moving to acting around the year 2000.
