The Winner Almost Hit the Actual Powerball!

Even though fifty thousand dollars is awesome, the winner could have walked away with nearly three hundred million dollars if it wasn't for just one number. The winning numbers were drawn on Monday, April 11th. They were 5, 7, 24, 31, and 34. The Powerball number was 4. The winner had four of the matching numbers plus the Powerball number. As impossible as that is to do, they only walk away with fifty grand.

Because there was no winner in Monday's Powerball drawing, the Powerball jackpot is up to three hundred and two million dollars. The winner of the fifty grand has up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
