The 2023 Buffalo Bills have a few more doubters than the 2022 version of the team. The roster has not changed much; if anything, the roster has gained talent, rather than subtracted it. Yes, some experts are saying the Bills will fall off this upcoming season.

The team will report to training camp in late July. The defense has a new play-caller, with head coach Sean McDermott taking over for former defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, who left the team in January.

The offense has added some new pieces, including offensive lineman Connor McGovern, running back Damien Harris and wide receivers Trent Sherfield and Deonte Harty. They also have rookie first round tight end, Dalton Kincaid.

The Bills release Isaiah McKenzie and did not renew the contracts of Jamison Crowder or Cole Beasley.

Beasley was first released by the Bills in March of 2022. He later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the start of the 2022 season, but retired a few weeks after joining the Bucs. Beasley came out of retirement to sign with the Bills in early December and was quickly activated from the practice squad.

Beasley did catch a touchdown pass in the playoff game against the Miami Dolphins but the Bills did not (so far) bring Beasley back for 2023.

The veteran wide receiver was active on Twitter today, quoting a tweet from Dov Kleiman, which did not list Beasley among the many "still-available" NFL free agents.

Beasley wanted to know if people were still mad about COVID? That's in reference of the pandemic and the controversy of Beasley's stance against the vaccine.

Someone responded to Beasley, saying "who are you better than on that list?"

Beasley said, "all of them but Julio (Jones) and Hopkins (DeAndre).

Beasley has not formerly retired from the NFL, so there is still a chance the Bills or another team brings him back.
