Dan Bailey kicked a 54-yard field goal with less than 15 seconds to play and the Dallas Cowboys kept their faint playoff hopes alive with a 19-16 win on the road at Washington on Monday night.

It was an ugly game until two minutes left in the game. Tied at 9-9, DeSean Jackson tried to make a play on a punt return for the Redskins. He went right, reversed all the way across the field, only to fumble deep in his own territory.

That led directly to a Cowboys TD to make it 16-9. But Jackson made up for it seconds later, catching the game-tying TD to make it 16-16.

However, the Cowboys were able to drive down the field to set up Bailey for the game-winning kick.

The Cowboys are now 4-8 and are just one game out of first place in the NFC East. The Redskins, Giants and Eagles are all tied for first at 5-7.
