RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: Not sure why the Wilpon’s are making it so difficult for Hedge Fund Businessman Steve Cohen to buy the franchise? Alex Rodriguez and JLo don’t have enough money and adding Star Athletes to make up the difference is a joke. Cohen has deep pockets, passionate about the New York Mets, and will give the franchise something it has never had, an owner whose willing to spend money. It shouldn’t be this hard. Hopefully the rest of the MLB Owners and Commissioner Rob Manfred can see why Cohen is the best choice to own the Mets.
