Domenik Hixon, Mario Manningham Injured in Giants 28-16 Win Over Rams
The New York Giants continue to be plagued by injuries this season. The latest victims are two key offensive players in Domenik Hixon and Mario Manningham.
The last thing that the new York Giants need is more injuries. They are finally starting to get some players back, and then they lose a couple more. This time it was wide receivers Domenik Hixon and Mario Manningham that end up hurt.
Manningham suffered a concussion early in last nights game against St. Louis and was unable to return to play after failing the necessary concussion tests. He will face more tests this week under the NFL's new stricter policy regarding concussions. If he passes them he should be good to go for next weeks game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It was a rough night for the Giants WR's in general. Domenik Hixon was also injured last night. He hurt his calf and leave the game, but afterwards he would say that he was fine. The injury occurred on the same leg that Hixon had ACL surgery on last season. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said that he was a bit shaken up after the injury and he was only pulled out as a precaution.
