Eli Wants to Play Until He’s 40, but Will That be with the Giants?
When you hear Giants quarterback Eli Manning who turns 37 next month say he wants to play until he’s 40, you have to wonder if he’ll be with the Giants after this season is over. If rookie Davis Webb is not your future quarterback, and the Giants draft a stud quarterback in April, there is no way Manning sticks around to groom his replacement. If Webb is your future quarterback, and the Giants can land RB Saquon Barkley from Penn State, then Manning might stick around figuring Webb is at least 2 years from being ready. All of this is why Webb needs to play before this season is out.
