Former Dolphin, Now 49ers OL Jonathan Martin Saves The Day At Mall

While shopping in Los Angeles at the Versace store last week, Martin saw a security guard in a struggle with a shoplifter who had attempted to take a couple of purses.

Without thinking, Martin sprung into action and helped detain the two that were guilty of the crime.

Martin spoke with Yahoo! about the incident:

"I didn't even think," said Martin. I just reacted. It wasn't until later when my friend said, 'He could have had a gun.' I didn't even think about it. I just wanted to help."

Martin started nine games for the 49ers this season.
