Giants Davis Webb Could Influence Number 2 Pick In Tonight’s Draft

Backup quarterback Davis Webb will be the focal point at Giants mini-camp. If the Giants don’t draft a quarterback on Thursday, they need to make sure Webb is the heir apparent to Eli Manning when he retires after a couple of more seasons. Big mistake not getting Webb into a regular season game last year, because all they have to judge him on is practice reps. New Head Coach Pat Shurmur and GM Dave Gettleman need to make a quick decision on Webb, and his future with Big Blue. If they won’t like what they see, they may need to draft a quarterback and not running Saquon Barkley.
