Free Commemorative Pepsi Cans Being Given Away At Highmark Stadium

Do you have someone in your family who loves to collect limited-edition Bills memorabilia? If so, they're going to want to get to Highmark Stadium on Thursday night.

When I was a kid, I remember thinking that my grandpa had the coolest room ever in his house. It was filled from the floor to the ceiling with just about every commemorative trinket he could find that had the Buffalo Bills on it. He had keychains hung around the entire perimeter, special beer cans, and every box of Flutie Flakes that had been released. It was a huge tribute to the Bills.

If you're one of those people with a mancave, or a Bills room like the one my grandpa had, you might want to check out what they're giving away on Thursday night.

They're giving away commemorative cans while supplies last

This Thursday night, the Bills will host their first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium. People from all over the country (and some from even farther away) will be coming to check out the inaugural game.

To mark the event, Pepsi created a special can, and they're going to give thousands of them away for free at the game. You can either get them at their special booth before the game, or they'll be giving some away on the way out of the game while supplies last.

The cans are featured in the image above. They'll have the Bills artwork for the Bills' inaugural season and Josh Allen's signature right on the can.

They'll have some "gameday favorites from Wegmans," and former Bills running back Fred Jackson will be there for a meet-and-greet too.

It's a cool way to display that "you were there" when you tell everyone about the first game ever at Highmark Stadium.

You won't be able to bring them into the stadium

Keep in mind, if you get one of these cans before going into the stadium, you won't be able to bring it in with you. You're probably going to need to run it back to your car before you go in. Bottles, cans, thermoses, and other beverage containers are all on the list of prohibited items that you can't bring in.
