The Buffalo Bills had their annual charity softball game on Sunday, which is hosted by safety Micah Hyde.

Hyde has been holding the event at Sahlen Field the last several years, which is both fun for players and fans, and helps out a great cause.

Many players take part in the festivities, including quarterback Josh Allen, who has won the home run derby multiple times now. However, he was dethroned by Bills starting right tackle, Spencer Brown.

Allen is the king of Buffalo. He has brought the Bills back from the depths of the 17-year playoff drought and is in the top three quarterbacks in the NFL (Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow). He's also a great human, who takes time out for fans and another example of that happened before the softball game.

Allen spent time with two little kids and their mom. Their dad is deployed overseas, as he serves in the military. Allen made sure to take photos and sign autographs for them.

It may seem small but this moment will be something these two kids never forget. It's lifelong.

Allen told a story before about how a certain San Francisco Giants player turned him down for an autograph when he drove down to see them play, which is something that always resonated with him. He told himself if he ever became a professional athlete, he would never do that to a kid.

Josh Allen is beloved because of what he does on and off the field.
