Kevin Huerter showcased his talents to the entire Country on Sunday. Capital Region fans know what Huerter is capable of doing, and the Hawks and their fans know what the former Shen standout is capable of doing, and now everyone else knows too. Huerter put his team on his back and carried them to a win in game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals. No matter what, Huerter is putting himself in great position to get a big pay day in the off-season, whether it’s with Atlanta or with another team. There will be plenty of interest from teams around the NBA.

In the interview above with Mike Conti from the Atlanta Hawks radio network, Mike gives us his take on what we have seen from Kevin so far but when asked about the key to a series victory against the Milwaukee, he said that someone may need to step up to help Trae Young and Huerter could be that guy. He said to underestimate these Hawks at your own peril. However the matchup of Jrue Holiday on Young is one to watch and therefore we may need a performance like we saw in Game 7 from Huerter multiple times in this series. Conti also says the Bucks do not have a player as talented as Joel Embiid in his opinion or at least not as tough as a matchup as he was in the Conerence semis. That being said, the team the Bucks have is better collectively than the Sixers and therefore will be tough to beat. But then again, underestimate the Hawks at your own risk.
