Mark Benson Speaks About How the New NCAA Vote Affects UAlbany

We all can’t wait for Major League Baseball, the NBA and NHL to return to action, and all three are headed in the right direction. In the meantime, I have been forced to watch Nascar and UFC, two sports that don’t normally get a lot of my attention. Once the big three return, I will certainly be watching but it’s taken a pandemic to have a better appreciation for a few other sports and what they have to offer.

Other sports that we hope come back of course is those on the collegiate level and it seems like voluntary on campus activities can resume where possible. UAlbany and other local colleges will have to wait until we get to that phase locally but the Athletic Director of UAlbany, Mark Benson, joined the show to talk about what it means for them and how optimistic we should be about college sports returning in the fall.
