Mets Make First Free Agent Signing

Trevor May is a good start, but it better be just the beginning of a spending frenzy for new Mets owner Steve Cohen. May is coming off three outstanding seasons in the bullpen for the Minnesota Twins, and he’s a needed piece to the Mets off season upgrades. But Mets fans won’t be overly excited until they land the other pitcher whose first name is Trevor. Cy young award winning start pitcher Trevor Bauer would be a much bigger splash, but you have to start somewhere. I have full confidence that Cohen is just getting started.
