RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: Nice to see the New York Gaming Commission lift their stance on allowing Owners to attend races in Saratoga. The Saratoga meet will be run without fans, but not allowing Owners to attend on the day their horse races, didn’t make much sense. Jack Knowlton , managing partner of Tiz the Law, watched his top three year old win the Belmont Stakes from Pennell’s restaurant in Saratoga, and he watched Tiz win the Florida Derby from a Condo close to Gulfstream Park, but he couldn’t attend. Thankfully Knowlton will be track side when Tiz the Law tries to win the Travers Stakes on August 7th.
