Giant fans REJOICE... Finally after a brutal stretch of years, there could be some stability at the head coaching position. Barring any setbacks it seems the Giants will be finalizing a deal with Super Bowl winning head coach John Harbaugh.

Harbaugh was recently let go from the Baltimore Ravens after 18 years with the organization, and brings in more head coaching experience than any other person in the current coaching carousel. He holds a 180-113 overall record and brought a super bowl to Baltimore back in 2012, as well as being named NFL coach of the year in 2019.

The Giants have gone just 7-27 over the past two seasons and will benefit greatly from John Harbaugh's expertise. Quarterback Jaxson Dart was also in the meeting with Harbaugh and reportedly played a big role in landing the head coach.

Harbaugh was far and away the most sought after head coach on the market, with reports of 7 teams reaching out to Harbaugh within 45 minutes of his release from Baltimore. The Giants landing him shows how much of an impact some of the young talent on New York's roster can have in the coming years.

The Giants currently possess the number 5 pick in this year's draft. Where they choose to go will significantly rely on Harbaugh's vision for this team. The defense was a big struggle for this team last year, and could be the focal point of a lot of Harbaugh's decisions.

However with a pick that high it's easy for teams to go for the "sexy" pick and get someone who can make big plays, potentially one of the top wide receivers in this class would fall under this category.

Regardless of the direction in personnel acquisitions, one thing that remains certain is that Harbaugh will likely be the best coach this organization has seen since Tom Coughlin. For the first time in a while Giant fans can be excited for next season.
