Rams Top Bucs in ‘Color Rush’
In what was a relatively meaningless game on a Thursday night, the St. Louis Rams topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-23, on the turf in St. Louis.
Case Keenum was an effective 14-17 for 234 yards and two touchdowns. Todd Gurley ran for 48 yards and a score while Tavon Austin also ran for a touchdown.
On the Tampa side, rookie Jameis Winston was 29-50 for 363 yards and two touchdowns. He threw a late interception as the Bucs tried to mount a comeback.
This was another installment of the NFL's "Color Rush." To me, the Rams uniforms were not bad. The yellow tops were actually pretty sharp. Pair them with some white pants and maybe some blue socks, and the uniform works as a nice alternate. For the Bucs, the red pants are awful. Pair them with some white pants and you're good too.
It looked a "Ketchup vs. Mustard" game - and some labeled it the "Condiment Bowl."
