I think it’s fantastic high school basketball teams are beginning to practice, it’s about time. When the abbreviated season begins, the goal of all head coaches should be to make sure the senior’s get playing time, especially the non-starters or the ones not in the playing group. With very few games on the schedule to begin with, the win-loss record really doesn’t matter. If you can fit in a conference tournament at the end of the regular season, that’s when your top players get the majority of the playing time.
