Seahawks Rebound With Win in San Fran
The Seattle Seahawks didn't look all the way "back" on Thursday night, but the two-time defending NFC Champions looked a lot closer to "back" in a 20-3 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.
The Hawks still had issues with their offensive line, as Russell Wilson was sacked five times, and Wilson was picked twice, but the offense got going on the ground as Marshawn Lynch ran for 100 yards for the first time this season.
The defense, which has blown fourth quarter leads in all four 'Hawk losses this year, clamped down and allowed the 49ers just 142 yards and a field goal.
The Seahawks came out on their first drive and immediately scored on a 12-play drive to set the tone.
The defense forced nine punts in 11 49ers possessions.
The Seahawks are now 3-4 and 1-1 in the NFC West. As bad as they've looked at times, they have a chance at the division still as they play the division-leading Cardinals twice.
