The Yankees should be ashamed

Rodger Wyland and myself had the pleasure of catching up with Major League Baseball analyst from SNY and many other platforms, the great Dani Wexelman! She is as much in the know as anyone can be when it comes to the MLB, and has followed this Yankees team all season long. I don't think she saw a performance as embarrassing as game 2 of the ALDS from them all year.

You just cannot beat yourself when it comes to the MLB playoffs. Four errors total with three coming in the first inning is a recipe for disaster. Was Cam Schlittler perfect? No not at all, but his defense did him absolutely ZERO favors in this game. As a Yankee fan I am beginning to wonder if Aaron Boone just can't get the job done. Year in and year out it is the same fundamental mistakes that kill the Yankees World Series hopes.
