A Major Gaffe By The GMEN!

Call it an omen if the Pats come away with a win in todays Superbowl. And if not call it nothing. However the Giants have given the Patriots some legit bulletin board material by having it released that their team website has already proclaimed them world champs on Saturday.

Now this gaffe will be laughed off but make no mistake the very crafty Bill Belichick will use this for motivational purposes before his club takes the field later tonight in SB 46.

The website declares the Giants as Super Bowl champs. Yikes! The NFL said in a statement

"It is common practice for both teams to create webpages in advance of the conference championship games and the Super Bowl, in this case the hidden URL for the page was inadvertently available for a brief period of time while it was being positioned on the NFL server for possible post Sunday night".

Now that seems like a reasonable explanation but do you really think Mr Robot Belichick will care. This can't be a good omen for Giants fans!
