As a lifelong Capital Region sports fan who has just so happened to be in radio for most of my professional life the chance to “join the Team” pun intended was the kind of offer I’ve been dreaming of. Growing up a Yankees, Knicks and Raiders fan(a punishment I share with my beautiful daughter Ella) I’ve felt the pain and success that comes with diehard fandom. Luckily for me my friends that love the Giants have adopted me so I have a reason to watch football after the Raiders have been eliminated EARLY every season for the last 10 plus years. I’m excited to talk sports and enjoy multiple happy hours with all the sports fans of the Cap Region…even the Red Sox fans.

Brady Owes Trophy Maker An Apology…FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' celebration after winning Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs has become almost as legendary as the game itself. 68-year-old head coach Bruce Ariens is out partying until 4 am, drinking on various late shows, and swearing at the parades. I personally can't recall a boat parade or seeing Tom Brady needing to be held up. So of course things got a little crazy and it almost seems fitting that the G.O.A.T. completed a boat-to-boat pass with the Lombardi Trophy. Was it a little shocking? Sure! Does Brady owe an apology? NO!

After what COVID-19 did to sports in 2020 it's great to see 2021 schedules start to come out. The New York Yankees have been a staple of my summers since I was a child. With restrictions in New York being slowly lifted this schedule from the Yankees has me truly looking forward to something for the first time in almost a year.

QB Carousel Could Spin Sam Darnold Out Of New York [INTERVIEW]
Just days after the Super Bowl and many high profile quarterbacks are possibly on the move. It might actually be easier to list the NFL teams that are for sure not looking to move their quarterback or upgrade. With all these Pro-Bowl QBs like Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz and even Russell Wilson unhappy with their current teams it feels like anything could happen this off season. Does Fansided's Matt Verderame think that the New York Jets will keep Sam Darnold, draft a new QB or trade for their new signal caller?
New York Sports Wagering Should Be Mobile By September [Interview]

Gaming Law and Sports Betting Attorney Daniel Wallach thinks mobile betting could be here as soon as September if one last hurdle is cleared.
