Bob Papa on Beckham Jr.: 'He Better Be Ready' [VIDEO]

With wide receiver Victor Cruz out for the year, the Giants are asking more of Odell Beckham Jr.

In his rookie season, most of which he has missed due to injury, will the LSU product be ready to take on the extra responsibility starting this weekend in Dallas?

“He better be ready," said Bob Papa, voice of the Giants, with Armen and Levack, on Friday afternoon. "He does have to step in because he brings an incredible high end speed.

"He was the 12th overall player taken in the draft. He catches the ball effortlessly, he make plays when the ball is in the air. Rueben Randle is the most targeted player in this offense and I’m guessing he is still going to get a lot of the targets.

"I think they are going to use Odell Beckham Jr. to loosen things up with the tight ends, create an opportunity for Randle. The loss of Victor Cruz is huge."
