BREAKING NEWS: Cleveland Acquires Ubaldo Jimenez

Multiple sources are reporting that the Colorado Rockies and the Cleveland Indians have a tentative deal in place to trade ace starter Ubaldo Jimenez for Alex White, Matt McBride, Joe Gardner, and Drew Pomeranz. Again, this is a tentative agreement and is pending a physical.

This deal certainly signals that the Indians are true contenders and want to fight to get into the playoffs. This is a significant milestone for the Indians franchise since they traded away their star pitchers CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee.
