Brees, Saints Blow Out Colts 62-7
It was completely one sided affair last night in Sunday Night Football. The New Orleans Saints humiliate the unrecognizable Indianapolis Colts by a score of 62-7.
The New Orleans Saints put on quite the show last night in front of the home crowd. They went off on the disheveled Indianapolis Colts for a big 62-7 win. Drew Brees had another big game. He was 31 of 35 with 5 TD passes. Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston each caught two TD passes from Brees. His fifth TD went to running back Darren Sproles with also rushed for 88 yards and a score.
Fullback Jed Collins also added a TD to the already impressive tally. He rushed in for a 1 yard score in the second quarter. Mark Ingram didn't get in the end zone, but he had a impressive rush game for the Saints. He put up a 91 yard performance.
The Colts lone score came in the second quarter when Delone Carter rushed in from 2 yards out. He had 89 yards on the ground and pretty much was the Colts offense last night. A pretty disappointing performance from Indianapolis as a whole. Indy is 0-7 so far and it doens't look like they will be getting quarterback Peyton Manning back anytime soon.
