The Cleveland Browns bolster their rushing attack with Washington DT Danny Shelton with the No.12 pick in the draft

At 6’2, 320 lbs, Shelton is one of the premiere nose tackles in this year’s draft class. Shetlon lead a Washington defense that is loaded with NFL talent. He led the NCAA with five fumble recoveries and out of his 93 tackles, 16 of them went for a loss.

Shelton NFL Combine’s bench press performance was among the best with 34 reps. His brute strength is one of his most impressive attributes. He takes up a lot of space on the defensive line and his NFL Comparison is Vince Wilfork.

Shelton’s massive frame helped him succeed in several sports. He won the shot put state championship as a senior, and was an outstanding wrestler as well.

The 2015 NFL Draft this year was held in Chicago, Illinois. It's the first time that the event was not at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The new environment brought the majority of the first round draft picks, but not the top two, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston.
