The New York Yankees are coming off a feel-good win over the Toronto Blue Jays. The young guys stepped up with 21-year-old Deivi Garcia pitching seven innings of two-run ball and 23-year-old Gleyber Torres hitting a home run with four RBIs. So it's easy to forget that makes the Yankees 3 - 7 in their last 10 games. So what's the problem and more importantly how long will it take to fix it? Now that the Big Ten and PAC-12 have suspended their Fall 2020 sports including football to Spring of 2021 if at all how would that work? It's easy to say "hopefully the virus will be under control by Spring" but can you really play two seasons of football in one calendar year? We ask College Football Insider for the Sporting News Bill Bender just how realistic is a Spring season for College Football?

Sure New York Mets' first baseman Pete Alonso hasn't had the start to the 2020 season we all hoped he would. But the phenom who set the baseball on fire last year during his 53 home run rookie of the year campaign is still great. The 151st running of the Travers is this Saturday at the Saratoga Race Course. Even though fans will not be in attendance there's still plenty of reasons to watch. The biggest of those reasons is Sakatoga Stables' Tiz The Law. Tiz The Law is the first New York-bred horse to win the Belmont Stakes since Forester in 1882. Having a homegrown talent be a favorite and potentially winning on his way to a Triple Crown plus the Travers is pretty awesome.
