Earlier today on "Cady's Corner" (airs 10-11am every Saturday morning), Brian Cady discussed several topics, including the US Open and the NBA Finals. But during the show, Brian was joined by Pat O'Connor, the Director of Operations for the Capital District Basketball Association (CDBA).

As they are about to embark on their second year of existence, the CDBA looks to continue its success from last year's inaugural season with a tremendously competitive brand of Summer League basketball. The CDBA is one of the few NCAA-sanctioned Summer Leagues in the entire United States, and is open and free to the public! Games are played on Monday and Thursday nights at Rensselaer High School.

There will be several notable players familiar to the Capital Region taking part in this league, including current Siena players OD Anosike, Evan Hymes, Davis Martens and Trenity Burdine. Also within the rosters of this 7-team league will be Troy High graduate / current Albany Legends player "Tiki" Mayben, former Saint Rose star Steve Dagostino and current Sage College of Albany guard Jeff Stopera.

For more information, check out the interview below with Pat O'Connor and visit the CDBA official website.
