It isn't all just about football this weekend, as much as we love Section II Super Bowl time.

The soccer players of Section II also get their moments on the pitch, this time in regional play.

In Class B, undefeated Schalmont looks to top Plattsburgh to advance to the State Final Four. That game is at 2 p.m. at Guilderland High School.

The Sabres got past Ogdensburg, 6-1, in the regional semifinal round.

Today, I was joined by Sabres senior standout Chris Hamilton. He has 64 goals this season, which is the all-time single-season lead in New York State.

I asked him about that record, finally capturing a Section II championship, the upcoming matchup with Plattsburgh, and about his future college plans:

Despite a great soccer career, Hamilton will play baseball at Stony Brook. He was part of the Schalmont team that won the state title in the 2013 season.
