Coming off their first loss in America East play, the UAlbany men's basketball team righted the ship on Monday night, routing Binghamton, 80-59 at SEFCU Arena.

The win moves the Danes to 15-5 and 4-1 in league play. The Danes have now won 14 straight games at SEFCU Arena.

UAlbany was up 41-30 at the break before pulling away in the second stanza. UAlbany got double-figures from five players in the win including 18 from Peter Hooley and 16 from Ray Sanders. Evan Singletary had 11 while Mike Rowley and Joe Cremo each contributed 10. Cremo was 3-4 from the floor at 4-4 at the foul line.

UAlbany also had a substantial edge on the glass, winning the rebounding battle, 32-20.

Another key for the Danes was the charity stripe, where they shot 91 percent (20-22). Binghamton shot just 10 total FTs the entire night.

UAlbany gets its biggest test on Friday night when they travel to Stony Brook for a 9:00 p.m. tip in a rematch of last year's America East Conference championship thriller.
