The UAlbany men's basketball team topped St. Francis (PA) on Saturday night but the most interesting play of the night didn't happen on the floor.

The mass exodus from SEFCU Arena at the 6:55 mark of the first half was the biggest storyline, as the fire alarm went off during the game, delaying it for approximately 45 minutes.

We heard multiple reports during and after the game about whether a fire alarm was pulled or something else was at play. Here's another report:

Regardless of what took place, fans were asked to evacuate the building. The players on each team also were taken off the floor until the building was deemed safe. UAlbany won the game 65-58 and moved to 8-4 in the process.

Three-players paced UA in double-figures as Peter Hooley led the way with 14 points. Evan Singletary had 13 and freshman Joe Cremo had 10.

UAlbany takes on Niagara on Dec. 23 at SEFCU Arena in its final game before the holidays.
