At the beginning of the game, the New York Giants outclassed the Dallas Cowboys in every aspect of the contest. However, in the second half, Dallas mounted a massive comeback and were within striking distance in the fourth quarter, when Tony Romo threw a pass to the endzone to Dez Bryant, one which could have won the Cowboys the game if not for a bizarre landing by the Cowboys receiver.

The play was then reviewed, it was determined that Bryant was out of bounds, and the Giants successfully defended the game's final play en route to the victory. However, if not for just a couple of inches, the outcome would have been much different.
