The Philadelphia Eagles defeated their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys 34-7.

The Eagles were able to run right over the Cowboys as they accumulated 239 yards on the ground. Lesean McCoy had two rushing touchdowns in the victory. In the game he rushed for 185 in 30 carries. The team also had 256 yards of passing, keeping the ball in close proximity utilizing their tight end Brent Celek, who had 94 yards and a touchdown in the game. Jason Avant had 74 yards while Jeremy Maclin had 54 yards with a touchdown.

DeSean Jackson had a quiet night with just 31 yards in the game. However this was due to Cowboys' Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan's defensive plan. Ryan kept his two safeties deep all night along, cutting off any real opportunity for DeSean Jackson to make a major impact. Because of this defensive scheme, this opened up things right in front for the Eagles as they were able to pound the ball on the ground as Lesean McCoy demonstrated, and limiting Michael Vick to his shorter receivers such as his tight end Celek as mentioned previously.

Both the Eagles and Cowboys move to 3-4 on the season with the result of this game.Next Sunday night the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens renew their AFC North rivalry.
