Notre Dame came out of the first half with a 7-0 lead over Florida State, but much like the rest of the season for the Irish the hope of big things quickly came to an end thanks to some sloppy play and big turnovers.  The night was capped for the Irish with Tommy Rees' second interception of the night.

The second half was all Florida State.  They scored two big touchdowns in the fourth quarter, one to Bert Reed and another to Rashad Greene.  Greene would be named the games MVP after catching for 99 yards.  Seminoles QB EJ Manuel had a great game once they got going throwing 249 yards.
