Former Siena Star O.D. Anosike Signs With A Team In Europe

Despite his size and work ethic, Siena star O.D. Anosike went undrafted. However, he isn't unwanted.

Anosike signed a contract with VL Pesaro in the Italian league.

Not familiar with the Pesaro's? They rank in the country's top tier club league. The competition is supposed to be pretty good.

Anosike led the country the last two seasons in rebounding. However, playing for a team that has been pretty bad the last two years, and plays in a small conference, hasn't helped.

Anosike went undrafted in the recent NBA draft and seemingly didn't warrant a tryout with an NBA ball club.

Anosike said of the signing with a top team in Italy "I am excited about the opportunity to showcase my talents in one of the top leagues in the world. Pesaro is a first class operation and I am blessed to be a part of it."

Anosike grabbed 1,076 rebounds in his solid Siena career, second only to Ryan Rossiter.

No terms on Anosike's contract were announced or given.
